Substance Dependency and Harm Reduction
We are a group of political science students based at the University of British Columbia dedicated to educating the public about Canada’s history and current public policies surrounding substance dependency. Our goal is to create a safer and healthier Canada, and we aim to do so, by identifying solutions to help victims of substance dependency and combat the stigma that is associated with addictions.
Trial Of Machiavelli
In this little short piece, I tried to explain the political ideology of Niccolò Machiavelli a 15th-century philosopher and diplomat. "Machiavelism", his ideology is called, and for a long time, people have associated his approach to ruling over a domain as tyrannical and fascist but I, in this short piece will try to explain and defend Machiavelli's ideology. I decided to write this short piece in a courtroom-style setting where I will act as an advocate for Machiavelli.
Policy Proposal: Deep Fake Technology
In 2022, I with my teammates prepared a policy proposal on behalf of the Canadian chamber of commerce to discuss a pressing matter on deep fake technology.

The Farmers' Protest: An interview with farmers of India
In 2021, I conducted some interviews with some Indian farmers who protested against the farm bill when it was introduced in 2020 to get to know their reasons for protesting against the government. In my interviews, I found a very intriguing argument that not all farmers supported the protest.
Debate
Debating helps me to develop essential critical thinking skills – the ability to make reasoned and well-thought-out arguments in addition to questioning the evidence behind a particular stance or conclusion.
Interview
A political science project designed for interviewing skill development. As a part of the team working with Indian Farm Protests, I traveled to interview the participants, and contrast the way different media platforms represented the situation, with the perception from the point of view of organizers.
Music
I have been learning guitar since the age of thirteen which made me very perceptive of the different rhythms and sounds. Since music requires a lot of practice to master, learning guitar has made me appreciate the value of doing hard work.
Public Speaking
Through academic presentations and voluntary work in educational programmes, I am able to improve my capacity to communicate with audiences of varying ages, ethnic backgrounds, and English proficiency. Adaptability and sensitivity to your audience are critical components of effective public speaking!
Report Writing
Reports highlighting discoveries, obstacles, and recommendations for more effort. In other words, repackaging scholarly findings into succinct explanations for a larger audience.
Research
The term "research skills" refers to an individual's capacity for locating and evaluating relevant information on a particular subject. These abilities include conducting research, undertaking critical analysis, and developing theories or solutions to a specific problem which I have developed through the past three years of writing university-level term papers.
Storytelling
Sharing stories about causes I care about and leveraging my platform to elevate the important tales of local citizens I interview.
